Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter. There are more than 20 albums. DiFranco's music is categorized as folk and alternative rock although it includes influences from punk funk hiphop and jazz. Ani DiFranco was the very first person to create her own label in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered as one of the feminist icons. DiFranco was born on the 23rd of September 1970 in Buffalo, New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who was introduced to Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father is of Italian descent, and her mother hails from Montreal. Ani diFranco composed and performed the song 32 Flavors.
