Summer glau

Firefly the new Whedon hit series, came out of her one-off episode. Summer Glau was very good playing the challenging role as River Tam. Tam, as the character from the film was called, was subjected to government experiments that were designed to help her become a successful assassin. The capacity of Tam to regulate her mood was stripped from her. Glau got the chance to show off not only her acting talents, but her fighting skills on Firefly. It was also evident that learning to be an assassin enabled Glau to fully use her athletic ability. Summer Glau, a trained classical ballerina. A broken toe was the final straw for her as a dancer. Firefly was only on for just one season but it had a large fanbase. Whedon's fans were so enthusiastic that Whedon returned to it 2 years after. Summer Glau kept on getting her fair share of work.
